Torafu Architects are currently having an airvase exhibition at Haaz Art & Design Gallery in Istanbul until June 27. The exhibition displays around 200 airvases as well as a beautiful collection of photographs that tell the airvase story.

Matt and I visited the Torafu headquarters in Tokyo just a couple of weeks ago and we were lucky enough to hear all about the making of the airvase from the designers and makers themselves – amazing! We saw many mock-ups and tests, hundreds of them and some were even cut by hand! What a truly incredible experience and one we’ll never forget. I’ll blog more about it later.
