There are so many blogs I love and being relatively new to the blogging world (8 months new), I wonder how I ever got by without my daily dose of pleasing posts and inspiration. Nowadays, when I feel like a bit of daydreaming at my desk, you know, a little escape, I often turn to anna emilia‘s beautiful blog.

Her illustrated life based in Finland is true escapism for me and I just adore all her paper pieces. Especially all the little huts she builds from the paper scraps she collects from her paintings. They are so very cute!

And oh, how I dream of my walls being covered in all the pretty patterns she paints.

When Anna Emilia paints, she thinks of all the faraway places the wind reaches and hopes to hear from them. She says, “I enjoy finding connections between nature and the ones living in it, collecting them as memories on soft cotton paper”. She refers to her blog as her weather diary, which is just so sweet don’t you think?
