picture perfect paper
I have folders and folders filled of magazine pages I’ve cut-out over the years picturing pretty paper objects accompanied by beautiful styling. So many of these pages are the work of Rebecca Thuss during her time at Martha Stewart‘s magazine land, where she created entirely cut-out worthy editorial stories for fashion, décor, cakes, favors, stationery, flowers and more.
I think it’s safe to say that Rebecca falls into the category of ‘over achiever’. She’s an award winning stylist, a creative director, wedding designer and a super talented crafter too. She loves packaging and has a thing for vintage paper. Currently she and her husband Patrick Farrell work together to create inspiring photography and graphic design from their studio in New York. To see more of their work visit the ThussFarrell website. I did, and I found this awesome series (below) titled, 24 lunch bags. It’s like a day in the life of an ordinary brown paper bag. I love it!
Rebecca creates picture perfect paper bits and pieces with colour palettes that will make you feel as if you’ve just stepped into a lolly shop.
She made these beautiful paper fans (pictured above) from various wallpapers. She’s seriously one talented ‘paper goodness’ maker!
And I’ve never seen more beautiful paper-made favors than the ones on Rebecca’s website. So many good ideas there, you really must take a look!
