Architect Ryuji Nakamura (http://www.ryujinakamura.com/) creates the most beautiful objects with paper. In 2004 he established his own studio, working in the fields of industrial and landscape design, architecture, interior and furniture design. His pieces are surprisingly strong thanks to the clever way in which the paper is constructed. So even though I could not actually bring myself to sit on one of his pristine white chairs, they are completely functional as chairs! Here are some of my favourite works of his.
